How to convert a short audio clip
Use this when you have a voice note or a short excerpt and you want the on-site converter to process it.
Prerequisites
- A browser that can run this site’s JavaScript.
- A file you have the right to use, ideally under the server size cap (5 MB when last checked).
- The conversion server reachable — the status chip on the converter should not stay “off”.
Steps
- Open the converter.
- Leave “Change the voice” selected, or pick Male ↔ Female / Keep only the music.
- Wait until voices load. Choose one of the listed models. If none load, reload the page; do not type an ID.
- Choose a file. If a waveform appears, drag the start slider so the highlight covers the part you want. Only that window (currently 10 seconds) is converted.
- Optional: open Fine-tune for pitch.
- Tick the rights checkbox.
- Press Convert once. The button stays disabled during upload.
- Watch “Your conversions” for Waiting or Converting. Press Refresh if the page lost contact.
- When Ready, press Download, listen, then Save.
Common problems
- Voices did not load: the gateway or conversion server is down. Try later or WhatsApp.
- Convert does nothing useful: missing file, missing voice, or the rights box is unticked.
- Rejected file: see audio formats.
- Queue full: wait for the estimated time in the status chip.
Use converted audio only in ways that are lawful. Responsible use.
